Some firms do their bit and leave but they even arranged for other tradesmen to help complete the redecoration work after they had left i.e. plasterer, plumber (to re-mount a radiator) whose work was also of an equally excellent standard. I recently used City Insulation to help with soundproofing my semi-detached house. I could hear my neighbours TV, door slamming and arguments, to the extent that I felt like I lived with them! City Insulation installed their ‘Independent Wall plus both upgrades’ system on every adjoining wall to my neighbours and the results have been great! The noise has been reduced by around 80% in the three rooms and I no longer feel the intrusion from next door. I knew nothing about soundproofing before the job was done, and City are not local to where I live so it was a bit of a’ leap of faith’.... However, Rachel has been fantastic in responding to all my queries, Adam was really knowledgable about getting the right solution for me and the installation team (Nick, Jack and Brad) were so efficient in getting the work done and to a really high standard. Many thanks to the team for installing the soundproofed wall all along the partition wall from one side of the house to other completely sealing off the noise disturbances I had to deal with.The team of three took two days and worked their hats off with exemplary workmanship and showed ingenuity fixing a challenging situation that they’d encountered.They also set up the house with protection prior to starting and cleaned up inside and outside the door where they worked in poor weather conditions.All in all, I will definitely call them again for any issues and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Adam and Rachel from the office were very helpful in answering all the queries I initially had.

We are all absolutely delighted with City Insulation and the work they have just completed at my brother's house in Liverpool. Sadly my brother is living with alzheimers now and he does have some noisy outbursts now and again, which is natural for this horrible illness. He is being cared for 24/7 in a normal semi-detached house in Liverpool however his neighbours are not normal and keep complaining and putting in complaints to the police / council etc. I found Adam/City Insulation on the internet and he was so understanding and came up with exactly the right solution. All the carers in the house are delighted and its made their job easier as they no longer worry about the next door neighbours who have got to find something else to complain about now! Amazing company. I live in an 1890’s house which was converted into two flats in the early 90’s. When I purchased the ground floor flat in 2018 the ceilings had already been considerably dropped in an attempt to reduce noise but in reality, did nothing to prevent the noise coming from upstairs and made the rooms feel quite claustrophobic. Having lived in the property for 4 years the situation was really getting me down and I was seriously contemplating trying to sell but came across City Insulation on Instagram so decided to at least try to solve the problem. Initially approached Adam and Rachel by email and after the first conversation with Adam by telephone, decided to go ahead with what he proposed for the main problem areas, the two front rooms and hall.Having lived with the new soundproofed ceilings for 2 months I can honestly say I no longer hear much from upstairs other than the loudest of noises and have regained so much ceiling height which makes the rooms feel bigger and brighter.Adam and the entire team are so friendly and approachable, they tidied up at the end of each day, were always on time and incredibly hard working; staying late to get the job done. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone having similar issues and will hopefully be having them back soon to do the same for the remaining rooms.

We contacted Adam Turner of City Insulation and spoke to him about needing sound-proofing along the wall of our living and dining rooms which adjoin the property next door. He talked in a very knowledgeable and professional manner and seemed to be a very genuine person.When he came to our home to talk to us he explained everything in great detail. He brought samples of sound-proofing materials with him and took detailed measurements of the walls.We were very impressed and decided to let him go ahead with the work.Adam's three man team came and worked for three days.The whole job was carried out in a very professional way and at the end of each day everything was left clean and tidy. We run a commercial boarding kennels and needed sound absorption fitting to the kennels. Adam was very friendly and professional. We were a bit of a nuisance of a client as there was 2 years between us having the job priced up and completed due to us not City Insulation. Adam came back to revisit the job even though we are quite a distance away, he adjusted the plan to suit our needs more and the job was started and completed exactly when he said it would be. I recently used City Insulation to install soundproofing solutions to a bedroom party wall and floor. I thoroughly recommend them.
