Best experience I've had with any tradesman to be honest. Amazing company. I live in an 1890’s house which was converted into two flats in the early 90’s. When I purchased the ground floor flat in 2018 the ceilings had already been considerably dropped in an attempt to reduce noise but in reality, did nothing to prevent the noise coming from upstairs and made the rooms feel quite claustrophobic. Having lived in the property for 4 years the situation was really getting me down and I was seriously contemplating trying to sell but came across City Insulation on Instagram so decided to at least try to solve the problem. Initially approached Adam and Rachel by email and after the first conversation with Adam by telephone, decided to go ahead with what he proposed for the main problem areas, the two front rooms and hall.Having lived with the new soundproofed ceilings for 2 months I can honestly say I no longer hear much from upstairs other than the loudest of noises and have regained so much ceiling height which makes the rooms feel bigger and brighter.Adam and the entire team are so friendly and approachable, they tidied up at the end of each day, were always on time and incredibly hard working; staying late to get the job done. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone having similar issues and will hopefully be having them back soon to do the same for the remaining rooms.

We contacted Adam Turner of City Insulation and spoke to him about needing sound-proofing along the wall of our living and dining rooms which adjoin the property next door. He talked in a very knowledgeable and professional manner and seemed to be a very genuine person.When he came to our home to talk to us he explained everything in great detail. We run a commercial boarding kennels and needed sound absorption fitting to the kennels. Adam was very friendly and professional. We were a bit of a nuisance of a client as there was 2 years between us having the job priced up and completed due to us not City Insulation. Adam came back to revisit the job even though we are quite a distance away, he adjusted the plan to suit our needs more and the job was started and completed exactly when he said it would be. I recently used City Insulation to install soundproofing solutions to a bedroom party wall and floor. I thoroughly recommend them. Ive had two secondary glazed window units installed in my bedroom 2/2/2023City insulation arrived on time.Adam the fitter and co owner installed the secondary windows with 6.8milli acoustic sound proof glass.Adam was very professional and once the installation was complete everywhere was left neat clean and tidy.I would not hesitate to recommend City Insulation .
