Adam & Rachel were professional, knowledgeable and genuine people to deal with. I knew nothing about sound proofing but they talked me through all my options to help me understand the best options for my particular wall. They were also really helpful on suggesting work that fitted within my budget, there were other more expensive options but they recommended the best package for me that would have the most impact not just the most expensive. The sound proofing they installed on my party wall to reduce noise from neighbours (screaming children, overly loud tv, shouting etc..) has been game changing. Since being completed me and my partner can now sit and have a conversation without having to put music or tv on in background to drown out the neighbour noise. The work was very professional, the finishes excellent and all the lads took real care to protect existing furniture, carpets etc... The work was completed in a very professional manner and attention to detail was fantastic. Some firms do their bit and leave but they even arranged for other tradesmen to help complete the redecoration work after they had left i.e. plasterer, plumber (to re-mount a radiator) whose work was also of an equally excellent standard. I would highly recommend city insulation to anyone wanting to work with a truly professional business whose end product does exactly what it says on the tin! I recently used City Insulation to help with soundproofing my semi-detached house. I could hear my neighbours TV, door slamming and arguments, to the extent that I felt like I lived with them! City Insulation installed their ‘Independent Wall plus both upgrades’ system on every adjoining wall to my neighbours and the results have been great! The noise has been reduced by around 80% in the three rooms and I no longer feel the intrusion from next door. I knew nothing about soundproofing before the job was done, and City are not local to where I live so it was a bit of a’ leap of faith’. However, Rachel has been fantastic in responding to all my queries, Adam was really knowledgable about getting the right solution for me and the installation team (Nick, Jack and Brad) were so efficient in getting the work done and to a really high standard. Thank you team for all your help - it’s really appreciated!

We had a wall soundproofed in our bedroom and it’s made a big difference. Rachel was really prompt and friendly with responses from our initial enquiry to completion and knowledgeably answered all my queries. The installation team were prompt and friendly and I was happy to just leave them to it. They did an excellent job and we used the recommended plasterer too. Rachel was very understanding and patient, providing all the necessary details before the job completion and answering all my questions. Many thanks to the team for installing the soundproofed wall all along the partition wall from one side of the house to other completely sealing off the noise disturbances I had to deal with.The team of three took two days and worked their hats off with exemplary workmanship and showed ingenuity fixing a challenging situation that they’d encountered.They also set up the house with protection prior to starting and cleaned up inside and outside the door where they worked in poor weather conditions.All in all, I will definitely call them again for any issues and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Adam and Rachel from the office were very helpful in answering all the queries I initially had.

Great work from the team. The soundproofing on our 1930s semi has far exceeded our expectations. Our lounge is now so peaceful! They worked really hard, from start to finish, putting the room back together again so you’d never know they’ve been (but for the need to decorate 😉). We are all absolutely delighted with City Insulation and the work they have just completed at my brother's house in Liverpool. Sadly my brother is living with alzheimers now and he does have some noisy outbursts now and again, which is natural for this horrible illness. He is being cared for 24/7 in a normal semi-detached house in Liverpool however his neighbours are not normal and keep complaining and putting in complaints to the police / council etc. I found Adam/City Insulation on the internet and he was so understanding and came up with exactly the right solution. All the carers in the house are delighted and its made their job easier as they no longer worry about the next door neighbours who have got to find something else to complain about now! A big thanks to Adam and his team and if you have any noise issues etc you now know who to contact! (Ps very clean, very quick job, great value for money)

I recently had City Insulation install soundproofing on two alcoves and a chimney breast in my living room. From the outset I was expertly guided by Rachel who was very knowledgeable and guided me through the whole process. Amazing company. I live in an 1890’s house which was converted into two flats in the early 90’s. When I purchased the ground floor flat in 2018 the ceilings had already been considerably dropped in an attempt to reduce noise but in reality, did nothing to prevent the noise coming from upstairs and made the rooms feel quite claustrophobic. Having lived in the property for 4 years the situation was really getting me down and I was seriously contemplating trying to sell but came across City Insulation on Instagram so decided to at least try to solve the problem. Initially approached Adam and Rachel by email and after the first conversation with Adam by telephone, decided to go ahead with what he proposed for the main problem areas, the two front rooms and hall.Having lived with the new soundproofed ceilings for 2 months I can honestly say I no longer hear much from upstairs other than the loudest of noises and have regained so much ceiling height which makes the rooms feel bigger and brighter.Adam and the entire team are so friendly and approachable, they tidied up at the end of each day, were always on time and incredibly hard working; staying late to get the job done. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone having similar issues and will hopefully be having them back soon to do the same for the remaining rooms.

We contacted Adam Turner of City Insulation and spoke to him about needing sound-proofing along the wall of our living and dining rooms which adjoin the property next door. He talked in a very knowledgeable and professional manner and seemed to be a very genuine person.When he came to our home to talk to us he explained everything in great detail. He brought samples of sound-proofing materials with him and took detailed measurements of the walls.We were very impressed and decided to let him go ahead with the work.Adam's three man team came and worked for three days.The whole job was carried out in a very professional way and at the end of each day everything was left clean and tidy. They were a great team of workmen. They were friendly and personable, and nothing was too much trouble for them.We used the plasterer that Adam recommended and he did an excellent job.We are really pleased with the finished project and we're very happy with how effective the sound-proofing measures have proven to be.We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending City Insulation who in our experience provide a professional and very effective sound Insulation job.

We run a commercial boarding kennels and needed sound absorption fitting to the kennels. Adam was very friendly and professional. We were a bit of a nuisance of a client as there was 2 years between us having the job priced up and completed due to us not City Insulation. Adam came back to revisit the job even though we are quite a distance away, he adjusted the plan to suit our needs more and the job was started and completed exactly when he said it would be. It was not the easiest of jobs for them as they had to work around our business that was still open but it went very smoothly.I would highly recommend this company.Thank you

Can't say enough great things about Adam and Rachel at City Insulation. They are extremely helpful and wonderful to work with. We needed special, custom secondary glazing (acoustic) installed on three windows. The quality of their work and materials were far superior, as well as less expensive, than other quotes we had received. I would highly recommend City Insulation to anyone needing soundproofing or secondary glazing for their home or business. They are polite, on time, communicative, responsible and all around professional. We will be using them again in the future!
