The Problem

City Insulation were brought in by Altrincham based landscape architects, Plan.it to solve the acoustic issues they were having in two customer facing meeting rooms. Often Plan.it staff would be presenting via video link and like many of our customers, found that despite having high end conferencing equipment, speech intelligibility levels were low because of the echo within the room. That’s not good for business.

The Solution

There was a requirement to install something that looked good as well as offering the obvious acoustic improvement – Plan.it are at the forefront of urban landscape design and change throughout the UK, so it had to look the part. We opted for the clean lines and acoustic properties of the alluring SlatWall, in natural oak, with a grey marl acoustic backing. The result – two meeting rooms that look and sound amazing, and much better clarity on business Zoom calls.
