I would highly recommend Adam and the team at City Insulation. They are polite, reliable and carried out the soundproofing job I needed in the timescales given. We had to tweak a few things along the way but this was dealt with promptly.

Adam and the team at City Insulation (Nick and Jack) we all amazing. Everything was great from the first consultation call to the installation of the soundproofing wall. I was having issues with noisy neighbours in a new build apartment. Now we can't hear a thing since the installation. Adam fitted secondary glazing at our apartment & its made a huge difference to external noise issues & has provided further insulation which obviously helps reduce energy bills. Good quality product & well fitted. Good communication. I would recommend city insulation.

City Insulation installed secondary glazing throughout our two bedroom flat in a converted mill in Ancoats, Manchester. The difference it has made is astonishing with regard to reducing sound levels (cobbled streets, geese on the canal and late night revellers) and improving warmth.The work was done cleanly and quickly and at a price that beat competitors.

Adam visited our property to advise on noise from a pool plant room that was coming into the house. He advised on the best approach to eliminate the vibration that was being heard. On his advice this has now been resolved. Adam was great to deal with and we would highly recommend his company

The sound proofing is of really high quality and we haven't heard any noises at all from our neighbours since it was installed

Adam & Rachel were professional, knowledgeable and genuine people to deal with. I knew nothing about sound proofing but they talked me through all my options to help me understand the best options for my particular wall. They were also really helpful on suggesting work that fitted within my budget, there were other more expensive options but they recommended the best package for me that would have the most impact not just the most expensive. The sound proofing they installed on my party wall to reduce noise from neighbours (screaming children, overly loud tv, shouting etc..) has been game changing. Since being completed me and my partner can now sit and have a conversation without having to put music or tv on in background to drown out the neighbour noise. The work was very professional, the finishes excellent and all the lads took real care to protect existing furniture, carpets etc... The work was completed in a very professional manner and attention to detail was fantastic. Some firms do their bit and leave but they even arranged for other tradesmen to help complete the redecoration work after they had left i.e. plasterer, plumber (to re-mount a radiator) whose work was also of an equally excellent standard. I would highly recommend city insulation to anyone wanting to work with a truly professional business whose end product does exactly what it says on the tin! I recently used City Insulation to help with soundproofing my semi-detached house. I could hear my neighbours TV, door slamming and arguments, to the extent that I felt like I lived with them! City Insulation installed their ‘Independent Wall plus both upgrades’ system on every adjoining wall to my neighbours and the results have been great! The noise has been reduced by around 80% in the three rooms and I no longer feel the intrusion from next door. I knew nothing about soundproofing before the job was done, and City are not local to where I live so it was a bit of a’ leap of faith’. However, Rachel has been fantastic in responding to all my queries, Adam was really knowledgable about getting the right solution for me and the installation team (Nick, Jack and Brad) were so efficient in getting the work done and to a really high standard. From start to finish City Insulation were extremely efficient, friendly and professional. From visiting on site to discuss the problems we had with soundproofing, to providing a solution and competitive quote, and to finally completing the work. The workmen were courteous, did a very good job and left no mess! We would highly recommend.
We had a wall soundproofed in our bedroom and it’s made a big difference. Rachel was really prompt and friendly with responses from our initial enquiry to completion and knowledgeably answered all my queries. The installation team were prompt and friendly and I was happy to just leave them to it. They did an excellent job and we used the recommended plasterer too. Many thanks to the team for installing the soundproofed wall all along the partition wall from one side of the house to other completely sealing off the noise disturbances I had to deal with.The team of three took two days and worked their hats off with exemplary workmanship and showed ingenuity fixing a challenging situation that they’d encountered.They also set up the house with protection prior to starting and cleaned up inside and outside the door where they worked in poor weather conditions.All in all, I will definitely call them again for any issues and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Adam and Rachel from the office were very helpful in answering all the queries I initially had.
Great work from the team. The soundproofing on our 1930s semi has far exceeded our expectations. Our lounge is now so peaceful! They worked really hard, from start to finish, putting the room back together again so you’d never know they’ve been (but for the need to decorate 😉). We are all absolutely delighted with City Insulation and the work they have just completed at my brother's house in Liverpool. Sadly my brother is living with alzheimers now and he does have some noisy outbursts now and again, which is natural for this horrible illness. He is being cared for 24/7 in a normal semi-detached house in Liverpool however his neighbours are not normal and keep complaining and putting in complaints to the police / council etc. I found Adam/City Insulation on the internet and he was so understanding and came up with exactly the right solution. All the carers in the house are delighted and its made their job easier as they no longer worry about the next door neighbours who have got to find something else to complain about now! Best experience I've had with any tradesman to be honest. We needed to improve soundproofing in commercial meeting rooms/studios and he laid out the different options very clearly so we could make the best decision from a range of budgets.
